NaruTen: Uzumaki-Namikaze Family (Ver 2)(AU-UL)

Anyone remembers my NaruTen family ( UL - Uzumaki-Namikaze Family ) based off my long-ago NaruTen fanfic "Unexpected Love"? Well, I recently had an idea to slightly redo the family and based Naruto and Tenten off Chapter-700. Their kids are still the same though, and so in the end, one can say this is a slight-AU of "Unexpected Love" where instead of the red Will-of-Fire outfits seen in the first version, Naruto and Tenten wear their Chapter-700 outfits with Tenten slightly changed to match Naruto.

So when I came across Pancake-Senpaii's art, I thought she would be great to do this commission, and she was happy to do it. As one can see above, Verena pulled through with this cute scene of Naruto and Tenten's family. From left to right, the chidlren are Kushina (4 1/2 years), Minato (4 1/2 years), and Tetsute (9 years). Naruto is showing the Rasengan to the kids. Kushina is excited, Minato looks at it with awe, while Tetsute just smiles given he seen the Rasengan before. Tenten just raises an eyebrow with a slight grin at her husband's antics. After all, even though Naruto is Hokage, he is still somewhat the same loveable goofball he was when he was a teenager.

So yep, this cute scene of Naruto and Tenten's family is a commission done for me by the talented !

If anyone is interested in some background info regarding Naruto and Tenten's children, I copied and pasted below the info from the first Uzumaki-Namikaze Family art. (Major Note: Please understand that my NaruTen fanfic "Unexpected Love" was written more than 5 years ago, long before Chapter 700 of the manga. There are differences between UL and canon, especially who became the Sixth Hokage.)

Info regarding Uzumaki-Namikaze Family

1) Naruto and Tenten are in their early thirties here. I'm not going to spoil what positions they hold in the village. Want to find out? Read Chapter 18 of UL.  --> "Unexpected Love" (Rated M) www.fanfiction.net/s/4847305/1…

2) Tetsute (Age 9, Height: 125 cm) - Eldest of the three, he physically takes after his mother with the exception of his spiky hair. Sort-of a workaholic, he loves weapons, but also ninjutsu and fuinjutsu. Loves challenges, thus he seeks ways to combine weapons with ninjutsu or fuinjutsu.

3) Minato (Age 4 1/2, Height: 94 to 106 cm) - Fraternal twin to sister Kushina, Minato is a dirty blonde with eyes from his father. A calm child, he loves teasing his sister but not like getting teased by his older brother. He already have a basic understanding of simple fuinjutsu seals when he sees them. He sports whisker-marks, like his father.

4) Kushina (Age 4 1/2, Height: 94 to 106 cm) - Fraternal twin to brother Minato, Kushina is a strawberry-blonde with red highlights, which matches the red hair of her grandmother and namesake. Her eyes though are green, which matches that of her other grandmother (Tenten's mother in UL fic). She's pretty much a hyperactive child, much like her father used to be, and loves ninja stuff altogether. Her love of Chinese clothing is from her mother. She sports whisker-marks like her father.

Now, anyone can see this art is not cropped, and that is it would be impossible to crop this scene. Also one can see that Tenten's outfit looks almost the same, yet they are different.



Last but not least, I want to thank Pancake-Senpaii again for doing a great job with drawing up the NaruTen Uzumaki-Namikaze Family. She did a great job, and I truly recommend to everyone to check out her gallery ( verena-senpai.deviantart.com/g… ) for her art is incredible. There are some great beach and water scenes that shows how remarkable Verena is with drawing backgrounds.

Well.. There you have it! A cute scene of Naruto showing off the Rasengan to his children, while Tenten, his wife, looks on with some amusement. I truly adore the children I had created in "Unexpected Love", especially Kushina given she is quite a little mischief fox. (Note: No, none of the chidren are in anyway like Boruto or Himawari. They are pretty much different. )
